Aircraft Modeling Project

In this project, I worked alongside two fellow engineering students to replicate an aircraft using the SolidWorks modeling software. My team decided upon the Lockheed U-2. Little did we realize, the U-2, being a stealth plane, had no public schematics, and close to zero publicly available dimensions. We definitely had our work cut out for us, but we decided to take the challenge. Our process consisted of four steps: Break the craft into components, define the components, model the components, and assemble the complete craft. Operating without any measurements besides wingspan, my team managed to create a striking resemblance to the U-2.
